ANNA-KARIN KARLSSON DIVINE LIL’SOMETHING 2.0 “PEARL GREEN GOLD STARS”
’No Monkey Business’
The 2019 collection No monkey Business – it’s a jungle out there is inspired by the ’90s music scene and celebrates being dead serious about the arts. It’s also a statement to an increasingly harsh environment and shrinking space.
By continuing to drive development of manufacturing and pushing the boundaries of craftsmanship, ANNA-KARIN KARLSSON presents exquisite sculptural titanium designs dipped in precious real gold plating.
The ANNA-KARIN KARLSSON 2019 collection is created for an exclusive audience and the designs are produced in only 20–100 pieces world wide. An authenticity card is provided with each frame and they are individually numbered.
2019 is the premiere launch of the Archipelagan Sky gradient grey Carl ZEISS sun lens with azur back coating, developed exclusively for AKK. It is inspired by the colour of the sky and how it reflects the sea by Anna-Karin’s home in the Stockholm Archipelago.
Anna-Karin says “I want to use the best lenses on the market and now I can give my wearers a chance to view the world through my eyes”.
ANNA-KARIN KARLSSON frames are hand made in Japan and Italy and all sunglasses come with Carl ZEISS sun lenses with azur back coating and ZEISS logo.
ANNA-KARIN KARLSSON is known as the world’s leading brand for luxury eyewear. Combining avant-garde design with extravagant materials and immaculate execution, each frame is a piece of art.
The company is based in Sweden and the designs are sold in more than 50 countries all over the world.
Lavish glamour, ultra feminine designs contrasted by strong sharp lines have become the brands characteristics. The avant-garde designs are executed only through the highest level of handcraft and exclusive materials such as 24k gold, white gold, rosé gold and titanium. Pearls, emerald stones, hand-set crystals and even diamonds decorate the ornate designs.
The ANNA-KARIN KARLSSON brand has in just a few years produced instant classics at the same time as they continue to push the boundaries of haute-couture eyewear.
